Welcome to the Sarasota (FL) Branch

The Sarasota Branch is part of a nationwide network of nearly 170,000 members, 1,000 branches, and 500 college/university institution partners.  We honor the group of visionary women who founded AAUW 136 years ago on November 28, 1881.  By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.
