Our 2019 Team

On Saturday, February 9, students from six high schools competed in the finals of Academic Olympics. It was a very close match. Riverview had 1 point more than Pine View at the end. (202 to 201). An All Star team composed of students from Riverview, Pine View, Venice and Sarasota will compete in April in the state competition.

As you can see from the photos, the majority of students participating are female, a far cry from the earliest years. This trend has been steadily building over the last few years.
